Meant to tell you last  week that the latest SUPER LISP  ms. is being
printed for  a course i'm teaching at San Jose  this spring. If I can
get an extra copy, I'll send  one to you.  With typical  bureaucratic
insight, they are  only printing 35 copies for a  course with current
expected enrollment of 30. with any luck we'll lose.  otherwise, i'll
(sigh) xerox one for you. There are major modifications over the copy
you got from DBA, so  that version should have a stake driven through
its heart. 

i've written a harangue on education in  CS and sent it to the  CACM.
it's called letter.acm[p,jra]  if you'd like  to read it.   There's a
response   from   Knuth   on  dek.frm[p,jra]   and   my   riposte  on
dek.to[p,jra]. If you'd like to read and comment i'd be interested in
you reaction.
